I AM SELFISH !! ARE YOU SELFISH ? !!

Man is Selfish by Nature.  And, this Nature is given to us by the God Himself. If it was not so then how can we survive in this materialistic and selfish world.

There is, in my humble opinion and thinking, absolutely nothing wrong in being Selfish.  If I am not selfish I will not bother to get proper education and work hard to excel in this important field for my own material and spiritual progress.

If I am not selfish I will not work hard in my life to attain economic wealth and positions attached to it.  These positions and the economic wealth gives me great amount of experience to know this World besides giving security for my own future and to fulfil my current needs and requirements.

If I am not selfish, I will not worry for my next birth.  It is only out of self interest or mere selfishness I will serve the mankind and go to Sat Gurus or Jeevan Mukt souls to learn more and more for my personal peace and spiritual progress so that I am out of the cycle of birth and death, the ultimate Goal of human life.

So I find that there is nothing wrong to be selfish.  The journey of Self/Soul starts from Selfishness to Selflessness.
