Question: During my life I have spent most of my time in ignorance and selfishness. Only now do I realize that the most important thing is to seek God only. Could I hope that one day the inner joy will also happen inside me, or is it too late in this life?
Sri Gurudev: It sounds as if you are 99 years old! It's never too late to realize the Truth. Our age is not limited to the age of the body. Remember that. You will never be spared until you realize. It's a sort of compulsory education. You cannot quit school and get out of it. Wherever you go, there will he a classroom. There will he a teacher waiting to teach you. You have to learn it today or tomorrow or next year or in the next life or after ten lives. That means after ten bodies. Until we learn the Truth, we will he given body after body after body. So how can you say it s too late? It's never too late. At the same time, know that it doesn't really take that much time to save yourself, or to know God, or to know the Truth. If your life is filled with dedication and renunciation, there's nothing to color or cover your vision. And when your vision becomes clear, you immediately experience the Truth.
OM Shanti, Shanti, Shanti

Human birth is rarest of rare. Shastras conclude "Manush Janam Amol Hei, Mile Na Baram Bar". No doubt in human birth we have all made mistakes at one time or the other. But once we have realised the mistake the wiseness is in not repeating it. We may seek pardon or honestly repent for the past mistakes. That will cleanse our mind.
We should always do those things in life which will grant us peace. We should also not do those things which will not give us peace. That will lead us to Happiness and in turn Anand i.e. Bliss.
Once we start caring for our peace soon wewill realise that the peace of others is as important as of mine. We then start realising God in all living beings around us. The process is quite simple. But the problem is we spend more time in finding mistakes of others rather than our own. We have control only on our lives and none else. We should therefore be careful in leading our life and always be aware.
The other thing I wish to state is that most of the spiritual seekers are glued too much with Shastras. The success on the spiritual path lies in moving on the path i.e. doing Sadhna. There is no short cut and each human being is having different disease and needs different medicine i.e. preachings to follow.
Let us Be Good and Do Good.
