Mukti

Can any one tell me whether we have to wait all the time till the time comes for liberation or attaining mukti? Does the practice of a thing will make it easier for theone to attain it?

Liberation from the cycle of birth and death is the ultimate goal of human life...Mukti is attained when the individual becomes liberated from the cycle of birth and death and attains eventual Union with the Supreme Being. Union can be achieved through true knowledge (jnana),devotion(bhakthi) and right work(karma).

Purity,self-control,truthfulness,non-violence and compassion towards all forms of life are the pre-requisites for any spiritual path....So practice of all these will lead to Mukti...

Dear Rajendra Jee, Namaste,

One thing please tell very frankly. Can you believe and do it if the answer you get?

All answers of your queries are there but it is as necessary to have a faith on it and bring them in use in your daily life as you eat your food with a strong believe that it will help you to remain alive and make strong by physically.

The word Mukti most talked topic in spiritual path. There are so many binds as such relation, diseases, tension, increment, unfortunate, accident, fights, envy and every obstacle that comes to our daily material and spiritual life are a kinds of binds (Bandhan) and unless one gets completely free from them neither he can attain the absolute nor even think of getting totality in life. Liberation from the cycle of birth and death is the ultimate goal of human life that is called to have totality in life. Maximum percentages of people take it, as that death is the final Mukti that is not possible otherwise rebirth will not take place.

Therefore, one has to go for spiritual sadhana to have the height of absolute to get salvation and further to have the totality. No matter if results do not come faster, one has to keep going with a strong self-determination, believe and continuity and must not think that nothing is happening. He receives compliments from other that proves that some things have been changed in him. A well-said quote is “Practice makes perfect”.

Hello again Rajendra my friend,

From what I understand the question becomes what do you want - liberation (mukti) or jivanmukti (liberation in life)?

At the end of this cycle of time (kalpa), as in every cycle, Supreme Father comes to liberate us from the cycle of birth and rebirth and take us back home with him. Before we return to our original (metaphysical) abode, He comes to teach us to commune or connect directly with Him - in order to achieve a state of jivanmukti.

Is the Supreme Soul God not the remover of accumulated sin, negative habits, impurities? The Supreme comes to provide knowledge, instruction and easy method that enables individuals to become easy masters, but not over others - over the self. This is self-mastery or movement from a state of physical body consciousness to one of spiritual (metaphysical) soul-consciousness. This starts with the realization that I am a soul, I have a body - not, I am a body that has a soul.

I also understand that no one returns to Father-God with the impurities we accumulate during this physical/worldly existence. As such, the choice is to either remove these impurities here in life and achieve your stage of earthly perfection while "humanly" conscious (alive). It is this stage of earthly perfection (liberation from the effects of karma) for which the awakened strive. This is the best way, from what I have learned, that we can establish our fortune for the forthcoming kalpa.

Sri Ramana Maharshi used to say that the very idea that you are in bondage and need liberation is the hinderance. Atman is eternal and ever free. Just identify yourself with the Atman and not the body-mind!

Every one is entitled of God's blessing but only some one attains the Mukti. The blessing and Mukti like gape between mother earth and atmosphere/sky but where as there is no gape. We have to dissolve in this same atmosphere with the help of same God's blessing by meditating ourselves without any desires.

Only some attain Jivan Mukti (liberation in life). I understand that at the end of the Kalpa, all souls achieve liberation (mukti) or freedom from the negative effects of our own karma, These effects are brought about due to impurities that, over time, have accumulated in the metaphysical self or soul. To return home means that all impurity is removed. Liberation in Life is accomplished through the fire of yoga with the Supreme. The soul is eternal, unique and indivisible. We can be be thought of a conscient points of energy - infinitesimal points of light that come into matter to experience and express or play our part in the eternal world drama. When the cycle is complete, perhaps, souls do not merge with or dissolve into the same atmosphere or element which is our home. "Without any desire. . ." is a BIG statement which has, implicit (within itself) a fragment of desire. Perhaps it is the quality and subtlety of desire which elevates or liberates us or connects us with the Source or Father of Souls.

To understand the actual truth of Mukti, it is beyond the capacity of any explanations or discussions because truth is truth but reveals through practical (meditation). So whats ever discussed or commented may be own experiences or revealed through books but ultimate Mukti is One which is not after Kalpa.

May I add Mukti is a much later thing.

Let us first learn what is Gyan or Wisdom?

For this we have to initially make efforts by our own self to acquire knowledge and wisdom from any or every source including Shastras (past realized souls).

For the unanswered Questions (since Shastras do not talk to answer our Queries) we need the assistance of some one else and for spiritual growth beyond our own we need a Sat Guru i.e. a realised soul. That is precisely we do in life when we go to Doctor or School or College to get solved our problems in life.

When we are in prison can we liberate our self?

No.

So we need some one else i.e. a Jailer or Guru who can help us liberate. We may try to apply our mind and make efforts to break the prison by our own self is the first step. We may do so but when caught our prison life may enhance rather than attaining liberation.

Many of us are have focussed attention toward material wealth. That results us to enhance our bondage. We have not got birth for that. We have got Birth to merge back to Godhood.

The real Wealth i.e. Soul or God is within. How to go within is a Question? So we may in oujr innocence try to learn Hath Yoga but for Raj Yoga (Meditation) we do need the assistance of a realized soul called Sat Guru.
