Mukti
Can any one tell me whether we have to wait all the time till the time comes for liberation or attaining mukti? Does the practice of a thing will make it easier for theone to attain it?

Let it be any types of yoga, we should not go for marketing. You are right that who seeks Gyan, usko de and also require a Sat Guru for the path of wisdom.

Dear Sirs, thank you for overwhelming response. my contention is that we all are bundle of memories. our knowledge about something is hinderance in our way. what our actions are, those emanate from the past. so do we have the freedom to find that is 'ever new'. i.e nitya nutan. from this point of view i had started a discussion so that i might get something new which will give a whole new meaning to what i had been thinking all the while.

Thanks very much Rajendra ji for sharing your point of view.
It is important to do so or else we will be sharing our viewpoint groping in dark or to say talking to the walls.
You are right when you say our actions emanate from the past i.e. Karma. Then you pose a Question Do we have freedom to find that is ever new or Nitya Nutan?
May I humbly say that yes it is a fact that our past Karmas (Prarabdh) normally guides our present action (Karma). The whole spiritual learning is to change our inner nature.
You will most kindly agree that Mind always wants to know or learn more about New things. Say if you have heard/read a Poem once, the Mind will not like to hear that Poem again and again. It want some thing new another Poem.
Similarly what dish you eat today, no one likes to repeat it again and again even though we may like it so much. Mind wants some thing new or change every time.
Same is the case with our Intellect (Buddhi). It wants to learn new things and make decision on them.
If we have positivity in our thinking and learn the new things the mind and intellect becomes fertile and it can solve even tedious problems. We have the freedom of choice and action in that sense. If we sincerely work upon this we can change our past Karma (Prarabdh) or to say our inner nature.
In spiritual parlance one must always trying to spend time with elders (experienced persons) or spiritual persons or say Sat Sang.
That helps to resolve our issues.

Vinodji Namaskar, May i add here a little bit that, can we be in that state which is 'only experiancing' or 'only perceiving.' To be in sat sang or taking the guidence of the elder is certainly not the way to get this state. what i feel is that they only point to 'something' and if we are able to perceive that willl help us upto a certain point. but what i feel is that we are the ones who have to find answers to our questions. No body is helping us to achieve the same. trying all the time to resolve my issues.

R U so serious? Than Vinodji revealed something that Knowledge is required first and it means the union of physical body with "I" from where the journey starts. But mind it, this path of Truth is very oppressive creats suffering but if accepted also very enjoing.

Salvation means cutting the bonds with everything other than God.
When the intensity of Shraddha (Basic interest on God is called as Shraddha) increases, it is called as devotion. When you enter Nivrutti (loving practical service to God in Human form), there is no risk at all, since the eternal bond with God is formed. In Nivrutti, there is no need of worship of God. Worship is ex-pression of devotion. Real love does not require any ex-pression. When the occasion comes, it gets expressed spontaneously. You are not expressing daily your love on your children.
When the proper occasion arises, it springs up without any effort. In Nivrutti the devotion is expressed in the test conducted by God on you. You say that God is testing your devotion. Your statement is correct in the language of souls. The same statement in the language of God is that God is trying to help you in proving that you have the highest bond with God only and not with anything or anybody other than God. Salvation means cutting the bonds with everything and everybody other than God. Kaivalyam means formation of the single highest bond with God. Both salvation and kaivalyam are essential.

Salvation is not at all related to God
Generally people think that salvation is related to God. Salvation is not at all related to God since it means only liberation from misery and stress and hence, is related to the soul and not God. Salvation can be achieved atleast temporarily with the help of a Psychiatrist or drugs etc. Salvation can also be achieved by self realization as propagated by Shankara and it can be achieved with self effort. He was in the time of atheists and hence, introduction of God was not indicated since the atheists do not relish it. But, introduction of self is a higher level than the basic level of materialized gross body. Jumping from materialized body to energetic self will help the next jump, which is from subtle energetic self to unimaginable God.
Therefore, Shankara laid up the foundation for the spiritual knowledge in the minds of atheists. If you identify yourself to the materialized human body, all the bonds with body trouble you throwing yourself into misery and tension. If you think that you are the subtle energy in the body, all these bonds with the materialized body get disconnected. In such case, you will have the salvation through self-realization. Thus, salvation is a topic of Pravrutti and hence, there is no reference of Nivrutti in this. Salvation is a natural instinct of every living being. Any living being tries to come out of the problems and hence, there is no relationship with God. It is the very basis of Pravrutti. Salvation is a natural instinct present in every living being. Even an insect tries to get rid of the tension. Hence, there is no element of divinity in salvation.

Salvation Vs ‘Sayujyam’
Salvation is purely related to selfishness. You try to go near to God thinking that you will get the bliss from the blissful God. It is just like approaching the nearness of the fire to achieve heat in the winter. You can become close to God only when God is pleased with you. God is not like the inert fire to be approached at your wish. You must satisfy God in His tests through your sacrifice of anything including life for His sake. When God is satisfied by your true devotion, you will become very close to Him and this is called as ‘Sayujyam’, which is quite opposite to ‘Moksha’ or salvation.
You have to prove yourself as a true devotee through practical sacrifice to attain Sayujyam. Sayujyam is the subject related to God (Nivrutti) and Moksha or salvation is subject related to you (Pravrutti). Hanuman tried to sacrifice His life in searching for Sita and Gopikas sacrificed their lives by jumping into fire after Krishna. Therefore, Nivrutti is full of sacrifice, problems and tensions, which is called as the path of thorns. Salvation or Pravrutti is the path of effort to achieve happiness for the self. The ignorant people due to lack of knowledge and analysis use the word salvation in the spiritual path. When Krishna was suffering with head-ache and the dust of the feet was declared as medicine, no devotee including the wives of Krishna and even Narada came forward fearing for the hell. Everybody wants relief from the torture of the hell even though God is tortured by the head-ache. But, Gopikas came forward to give dust from their feet and were ready to go to hell because their sole aim is only happiness of God and not the self happiness.
Therefore, all the devotees are in the path of salvation and Gopikas and Hanuman alone are in the path of Sayujyam. All the practices of Yoga are only medical exercises and are related to salvation only without any reference to God. But, ignorant people are mislead to think that Yoga is a divine practice related to God. Jesus gave life through crucifixion for the sake of God since it was the program designed by God. He imagined the torture and prayed Lord to avoid it if possible. This prayer indicates the climax of torture. But, finally, He said that the will of God must prevail. Through sacrifice and torture only Jesus became very close to God and sat on the right lap of the Lord. Since there is no liberation of the self from the tension here, this is not salvation but is a case of Sayujyam.
