WHO IS WISE & WHO IS ANIMAL?

May I share a small story:
Some one asked a Wise Man: "How you have become a Wise Man?".
The Wise Man replied: "It is with Blessings of Fools. When ever I saw the
foolish acts of others, I resolved not to act in that foolish manner.
This way I saved my self to act foolish. Slowly, others reckoned me in the
category of Wise Men".
The Man again asked the Wise Man: "In your opinion, who is a Wise
Man?".
The Wise Man replied: "A wise man is the one who gains from the experience
of others".
The Man again asked: " Who is a Fool?"
Wise Man responded: "The one who does not gain from his own experiences in life".
The Man again asked the Wise Man: "How will you define a person who
does not gain from the experience of his own life?"
The Wise Man smiled and responded: "An Animal, what else".

The day, when one recognize and see his/her own foolishness as foolishness, he/she becomes wise. Till one justifies his/her foolishness he/she is a fool. The act may look foolish, but it may not be always so.

As a human being one is bound to commit some mistake or the other which can be termed as foolishness act by others.
But as soon as one realizes his mistake, he should not repeat the same.
Many among us justify their foolish acts. That is a covering act. If one hides some thing it must be a wrong thing. It is bound to add to his woos soon.

A saint was taking bath at Ganges and finds a scorpion drowning in the flow of river. He picked the scorpion and put it on the bank of the river. But meanwhile scorpion bite that saint and again ran towards the river flow and again started drowning. Again the saint picked it up and put it on his palm and put it on the bank of the river and that scorpion bite him again. Several time it repeated and seeing this a man who was watching near by came to the saint and exclaimed,' Are you a fool? The scorpion is biting you every time you pick it and you go on repeating the same act? What kind of a man you are?"
The saint said," The scorpion works according to it's own inbuilt program(Svabhav) and I work according to my inbuilt program (Svabhav). Neither Scorpion will change nor I."
