will we watch simply others' greatness,

others' enlightenment ?

How many life-times will we sing songs,

praise others' MEDITATION

and others' enlightenment?

If we sing songs praising others' MEDITATION

and others' enlightenment,

will our personal problems be solved?

Only our personal MEDITATION,

our personal enlightenment,

can solve our personal problems.

Oh blind bull!!!

Sadhana means attaining the grace of the Lord in human form by serving Him. Upasana is attaining something, which is very much near and similar to the Lord. In Upasana you cannot serve the Lord. Upa means near. Asana means attainment. In Upasana you can understand the nature of the Lord through a model (Prateeka), which has some similarity with the Lord. Veda says that the Sun or the mind etc., should be meditated as the Lord (Adityam Brahmeti Upaseeta, Tam Mana Iti Upaseeta). The Sun removes the darkness as the Lord removes the ignorance. The mind creates several forms in dream as the Lord creates several forms in the world. The Sun and the mind are only the models to understand the Lord. When you meditate upon the Sun and the mind you can only understand the nature of the Lord. But you cannot serve the Lord. Hanuman meditated upon the Sun and understood the nature of the Lord. Then He met Lord Rama and served Him. Therefore Sadhana is greater than Upasana. Upasana is the beginning stage and Sadhana is the final stage.

Sadhana (Spiritual effort) without Guru is like a blind bull running in the field through out the night and was unable to reach the village since the farmer guide is not associated with it. Guru means He who removes the ignorance and shows the right path. Without Guru you will be wasting lot of energy and lot of time without reaching the goal. If you recognize the Lord in human form and serve Him like Hanuman and Gopikas you can attain the highest fruit. All this is known only through the preaching of the Guru. If you are serving the statues you will end in misery only like Tyagaraja. The blind bull spends all its energy through out the night without any use. Had it been in the hand of a guide it could have reached the village in ten minutes by spending very little energy in walking. (Swami sang the following song spontaneously here).

Oh! Blind horse ! – Hear the Guru |

You don’t see the way – But you are running with vigor ||

How many wives – How many husbands – How many Sons and How many daughters ---- You had for the past millions of births!

Don’t be trapped by the sweet words and sweet love of these family members |

They are your real enemies in your Sadhana--You have stolen their money in the previous birth and they have come now to get it from you with interest ||

They have come not only to collect their loans – but also to revenge upon you--By spoiling your Sadhana ||

Your energy and time are limited – they cannot save you when the death attacks you |

They will leave you after their revenge--They have come to you for food and shelter – Help them as per your duty |

But be brief with them without wasting time and energy ||

Hear Me, See Me, Speak about Me and Think about Me only |

Your senses caught by these bonds will not allow you to come to Me-----The blind bull ran and ran through out the night and was in the field only----It was dissociated from the guide – Therefore catch the Guru at once ||

Holy Jesus told in the Bible that if one does not hate his family members he cannot become His disciple. I am explaining the reason of His statement. Your family attracts you by love and becomes an obstacle for your love on the Lord. Guru is very important in Sadhana. Nobody is more than Guru (Na Guroradhikam, Guru Saakshat Para Brahma). You must not limit the service by serving the Guru personally only. You must digest His preaching. Can you pass the examination if you have paid the fees regularly to the teacher? But today the Guru is concentrating on the fees but not on the student.

Three types of GURUS

1) UTHAMA GURUS: Speak about your liberation and MEDITATION.

Mandatory for mankind now a days.

2)MADHYAMA GURUS: Speak about Manthrobasana,nama sankeerthana,

Bhakthi bhava etc.

3)ADHAMA GURUS: The Guru concentrating on the fees but not on the student.

Differentiate Satguru & Guru

In the word Satguru (Lord in human form), the prefix ‘Sat’ means truth. A Satguru always preaches the truth. Truth is always harsh and is not liked by several people. Therefore a Satguru will have only very few disciples. A Satguru says that the path with thorns will lead to the Lord. People will not like this. He also says that the path with flowers leads to hell. People will not be happy with this preaching. A Guru preaches which several people like. The Guru says that the nature of the goal will be the nature of the path. Since the Lord is full of bliss the path also must be with flowers giving happiness. Since the hell is giving you lot of pain the path with thorns which also gives lot of pain must lead to the hell. This argument is very attractive.

Several people will like this and will become the followers of Guru. Several people will praise him and give lot of Guru Dakshina because his argument is pleasant. But a Satguru says that the path with thorns alone will lead to the Lord because in this path you have to cut the bonds with your family and with your hard-earned money. Sacrifice gives lot of pain and sacrifice alone will lead to the Lord. The path with flowers strengthens your bonds with your family and money which gives you lot of happiness. Such path leads to the hell.

Several people do not like such argument and so only one or two persons who can realize the truth will become His disciples. A Satguru will never worry about the number of the disciples and about the quantity of Guru Dakshina. Even if a single disciple is available He is happy. Majority always goes to hell. Only one in millions like Sankara, Vivekananda, Meera can reach the Lord. Diamonds are always in minority. Gravel stones are in majority. Therefore a Satguru will be only one in thousands of Gurus and a true disciple will be only one in millions of disciples.

When you are doing prayers you are praising the Lord as a poet praises a king. The foolish king may give some gift to the poet. But the omniscient Lord can never be fooled by such praise. When you sing songs are chant the name of the Lord or express the feelings of devotion by shedding tears or by meditation you are getting the happiness and peace immediately. You have achieved the fruit. The Lord will not give another fruit for these things. When you are pained and loose peace by cutting the family bonds and by sacrificing your work and wealth to the Lord, then only the Lord will give the real gift to you. When you are working in the field for the owner, doing the work pains you. The owner will pay money for your work. Without doing the work, if you are simply chanting the name of the owner or sing songs on the owner, a wise owner will never give any gift.

You have already derived the bliss and peace by eating the sweet in your hand. Why should I pay you when you are eating the sweet? When you sacrifice the sweet to me I shall pay you. A Satguru teaches only the sacrifice which is the path with thorns leading to the Lord. Veda says that sacrifice alone can bring the grace of the Lord (Dhanene Tyagenaike). If you ask the payment by prayers and devotion the Lord will pay you from your pocket only. He will bring the results of good deeds from your future life cycles and present them to you. But when you are sacrificing the sweet to the Lord in spite of your hunger and your heart pain, the Lord rewards you from His pocket. Therefore the true path leading to the Lord can be identified by loss of peace, mental worry, pain etc., The path to the hell is identified by peace, happiness, benefit etc., Satguru leads you to the Lord and Guru leads you to the hell.

WHERE IS GOD?

Many people ask,who is GOD? WHERE IS GOD?

Is he there?

Why is he not coming to my prayer?

For years together i am praying,why ? why is he not listening me.

I have done this,done that,but what's the reason?

People didn't observe the missing lamb is in his ankle;but searching in the

outerworld.

when one points out the lamb he feels shy and runs away.Did it happened

to you?

Be proud at last you found it out.

This earth is a very tiny piece like a pin's head in the universe.

Can an ant envision a full man by its gaze?

So try that and know that,lift your wisdom-achivable only with one's

experience-to evolutionise your consciousness while you are with breath.

Make your body a temple/church/mosque.

Don't fall prey to so called Gurus. (Madhima or Adhama)

MIND THAT YOUR BREATH IS YOUR GURU

Other external Gurus are only cataylists.

Sit in MEDITATION;Observe your breath and become your own GURU.

Study new age spiritual books,chat your experiences in exchange,try to

grasp whatever you can.and achieve your evolutionised consciousness.

Now tell the universe " I " and my father are one.

How to Please God?

Reaching and seeing God is not important. Even demons have seen God very closely but they were destroyed finally because God was not really pleased with them. These demons did penance and got boons by force. Their penance was only chanting the name of God and meditation. So they sacrificed only words and mind. They never sacrificed anything practically by participating in the mission of the Lord. Therefore the people who want to get boons from the Lord by sacrificing just words and mind only are by no means different from the demons. Today, people are sacrificing only words and mind and sometimes even their tears. These words, mind and tears cannot be sold in the market even for a single penny.

The people who sacrifice their work and the fruit of their work (money) for the sake of God and do not aspire for anything in return, are angels and sages. A man in between these two stages sacrifices practically but sometimes asks for selfish boons when an emergency arises. Sacrifice of the fruit of work is also sacrifice of work because the fruit of work is a different form of the work itself. Therefore, both these come under ‘sacrifice of work’. In the Gita, sacrifice of work is called Karma Sanyasa Yoga and sacrifice of fruit of work is called Karma Phala Tyaga Yoga. Since both only mean the sacrifice of work, both put together is called ‘Karma Yoga’ or ‘Service to God’.

The incidents in human life and the results of the actions of the human being are the constituents of the cycle of deeds (karma chakra). This cycle is very complicated and is a multi-dimensional network as said in the Gita (gahanaa karmano gatihi…). The basic concept of this cycle is only preaching the soul for its reformation. God alone is the preacher as said ‘Guruh sakshaat parabrahma’. The unimaginable God is expressed in human form in this world of humanity. Such human incarnation is called as Datta, which means given. The unimaginable God is given in the human form to the humanity. Such given God is always involved in preaching and hence, any human incarnation of God is called as Guru Datta. Guru means preacher and Datta means the given human incarnation. Preaching is of two types. In the first type, the theory is preached, which can be implemented in practice by the human being after hearing the theory. In the second type, the souls are preached directly in the practical life because such souls are not covered in the first type. Many souls covered in the first type also do not practice even after hearing and for such souls also, the second type is applicable. Without understanding the God as preacher, ignorant people say that the life or nature itself is the preacher.

Therefore, you have to understand this practical human life as the practical preaching done by God to every human soul. One human being is born in poor family because such soul was proud of its wealth in the previous birth. The poverty should be understood by such soul. Therefore, the reason for the birth of a soul in the poor family is to be understood as the practical preaching by the God. Such placement of the soul in the required atmosphere is called as prarabdha. If the mental set up of that soul is changed, its actions become fruitful and the soul becomes rich. If the soul is not changed, actions will be according to its bad mental set-up and hence, will not become fruitful since the soul must continue in the poverty for some more time. Therefore, the same action performed by two different souls gives different fruits based on the different mental sets-up of the two souls. Ignorant people, who do not understand the basic concept of divine preaching behind this cycle of deeds, criticize this system of the creation as improper one. Similarly, a soul with good mental set-up having no pride of wealth is born in the rich family.

Mental Set-up decides the fruit

Let us the take the cases of two such souls born in rich families. One soul may continue with the born mental set-up and in its case, the wealth is maintained or even grows by its actions. The growth of wealth is an encouragement given to the soul for its maintenance of good mental set-up. In the case of the second soul, the good mental set-up may change due to polluted atmosphere and hence, its actions give negative fruits and the wealth disappears. The actions of the both the souls may be one and the same, but different fruits are yielded due to different mentalities. Therefore, your mentality is the source of the fruit.

Again, the ignorant people comment that the hard work of one soul multiplies its wealth and the same hard work of the other soul leads to the evaporation of even the existing wealth. This is the reason, why the hard work of one human being becomes fruitful and the same hard work of the other human being becomes waste.

The human being does not identify its own hidden mental set-up and blames its failure to be due to the irregularity of this systematic creation. This creation of God is the most perfect system and never goes wrong at any stage and at anytime. You can understand the mechanism of this creation-system if you recognize the basic concept, which is the preaching of God for the reformation of the human souls. Even the upper worlds like hell or heaven functions based on this fundamental concept only. All the punishments in the hell are only for the reformation of the soul and not due to any revenge. The teacher punishes the student for his or her welfare only and not due to any personnel vengeance. Parents, who do not understand this basic concept, quarrel with the teacher for the punishments. The severe punishment given by the teacher indicates his or her concern about the welfare of the student.

Intention of the action is very important. Similarly, the heaven contains some rewards of enjoyment in appreciation of the good deeds done by the soul. Therefore, the entire creation runs on the concept of the God as the divine preacher of the human beings. The human being here in this world or after death in the upper world is a constant student of Guru Datta only since the process of preaching is continuous here and there.

Sacrifice is the detergent that can clean this dirt. But, in the initial stage selfishness cannot be avoided and it is precipitated in the soul from millions of births. Therefore, in the first stage this selfishness of the souls is exploited to create the basic interest in God. Hence, Veda introduced the methods of worship (Yajnas) linking to this selfishness by introducing the fruits to the worship related to Iham like conquering enemies, achieving kingdom etc. The fruits related to Param were also in the same line like enjoying the pleasures in heaven. All this is the first phase called as karmakanda.

But, in due course, Veda slowly leads the human beings towards realization of spiritual knowledge giving more details about God so that the soul can slowly enter Nivrutti. This is the second phase called as Jnanakanda. The rituals in karmakanda are called as sacrifice (yajna) but the word sacrifice there is not related to its actual meaning. The word sacrifice is applied in its real meaning only in Jnanakanda, where you are preached about the sacrifice to be done for the sake of God. This sacrifice is based on the value given to God by you. Therefore, the important point is not to search for the actual form of God, but to develop the sacrifice for the sake of God.

The search for God does not give you anything. The sacrifice for God brings the full grace from God. The search for God is theoretical, where as the sacrifice for God is practical. You have to learn sacrifice through a training given in the world itself before you prove it before God. Therefore, the first step to learn this sacrifice is to develop practical sacrifice by helping the deserving co-human beings, who should be devotees of God. Leave the worship of God since it is useless as long as you center it on your selfishness. Try to learn sacrifice by helping the deserving devotees and once you are perfectly trained in this sacrifice, God will come to you in human form to conduct a test on you so that you will stand as example for other devotees. Therefore, you need not search for God. God Himself will search for you and meet you, once you are fully trained in the sacrifice by eradicating your selfishness.
