I have on numerous occasions been told by the people that they cannot meditate or recite because they are not able to concentrate and control their senses,my answer to all if you could control your senses then you would have evolved and would have been in harmony with the elements of universe and may or would have realized the paramatam. Our job is to continuously do our karma without thinking of the inputs and the outcome for its the omnipotent who decides so let him decide and act, your duty is like a drill you have to do it and just do it,remember that if continue to throw even the dry sand on a clean plastered wall after some time the sand seems to stick to the wall ,similarly just do what you have to do and in time you will be at peace with almighty and would be blessed just for that.

You are the witness of the (spirtual or worldly) experiences. Experiences will be temporary and varied but as witness you are permanent. You are that witness awareness. If you live as witness or pure consciousness or awareness you will enjoy eternity and unbroken bliss which must be the goal of all sadhnas.

You are a blessed soul. Please continue to do Meditation. Suggest please learn the technique from an Enlightened Soul who has practised Meditation and can lead you further.

Please sit in Meditation at a regular time preferably earnly morning hours. Also please maintain a strict discipline and lead a truthful and pious life.

Its been 3-4 years that i have entered into spiritual path intensely.

I spend lot of time in isolation and sometime in meditation and have felt same experiences of seeing a blue light in the third eye chakra

in pranic healing i was taught that the blue pearl is located near the perineum and it gets activated even the third eye is indigo in colour so we are seeing its color in active form during intense meditation.

also sometimes if ur lucky some spiritual guidance, psychic help comes during meditation.

recently a guru came to bless me during the early morning time when i was between sleeping and waking a subconscious time when astral beings try to contact the humans

 

im looking forward to read more spiritual experiences here

I feel very much ressonance with your reply and thank you for this in depth reply. No need to repeat you in my agreement with you.

In the Kundalini Tantra book first half of the book goes into depth with Siddhis and experiences and cause and effect of the awakening Kundalini. I think it might answer some of your questions about the astral realm.

Other half of the book is how to do one´s spiritual practice in various exercises.

I may add that please must do Sadhna regularly. What is Sadhna? Patanjali says to follow Ashtang Yog to attain Samadhi that is merging with God.

 

Ashtang Yog is Yam; Niyam; Aasan; Pranayam; Pratihar; Dharna; Dhyan and Samadhi.

 

Learn more about it from any good books or Shastras or some one who has followed this path (Guru).  One must be disciplined to get up early morning, fix the spiritual and work schedule, follow it rigorously, maintain spiritual diary, write good and spiritual oriented thoughts, research on the blocks if any and endeavour your best to cross them on your own, take help of outsider if required (Guru), Follow Truth, Support Truth, Be Good and Do Good, Work for the welfare of all Pranis and Love them from Heart, Have little food and little sleep.

 

Read Good Shastras.  Make good friends. Sing glories of God, Chant His Name and follow Lord Rama, Krishna or the teachings and preachings of Saints like Kabir, Guru Nanak, Naamdev, Shivananda, etc. etc. till you have a good living Role Model as a Guru.

 

Siddhis are like a good spot on the way to our Destination i.e. God. Do not get glued to Siddhis.  Take them as passing events.  Always remember your Destination is to Get Mukti or reaching God and that is called Samadhi.

Om Namah Shivaya and thank you for your posts.

In retrospect you all have something important to say about these Sadhana experiences and I really do thank you for responding. Originally when this started about 15 years ago I observed a blue light in the third eye center during all states. About 8 or 9 years ago someone suggested that it might be Kundalini awakening but I didn’t know anything about it and was not interested so I just continued to observe the phenomena. I would have to agree with PhoenixFlying that for the most part the phenomena are due to Kundalini awakening and I have experienced about 80% of the symptoms mentioned on that link you sent.

When it first happened there was a very deep disorientation with mind and persona however after this much observation I would have to say that what Kundalini does is loosen or merge you’re subconscious with your conscious awareness which depending on your samskaras might be a rough experience. It’s true that for a spontaneous experience like Kundalini to occur that person would have done some Sadhana in their past lives. In this life I put no emphasis on any past life information although from time to time I do get a sort of memory flash about those lives. I also agree with Vinod in respect to talking about this kind of thing, and also not pursing the attainment of any siddhi. Gurudev Swami Sivananda also suggests that if any siddhi should arise just observe it and do not attach to it in any way, it will only stop the journey to realize the Atman in its totality. I see siddhi’s as being a manifestation of duality and very dangerous to experiment with.

Interestingly, I find this state of being not to be totally of the mind although it’s expressed by it. There is a connection to the infinite – in the body it’s the heart center and it seems to have a cosmic or astral intellect far beyond the minds. I perceive the heart center as being beyond duality or duality as being a state of mind which the heart is not of. One could say that “all that is thought is ego” so the mind without the heart is ego running wild. When Kundalini arises and reaches the Sahasara a type of inversion takes place, the mind inverts into the Self and the persona seems to melt away only to reveal a greater reality of infinite immortality. What I mean is that you identify with something that is permanent, something other than your persona or this physical life; it’s like your using this body until it expires. This is a non-dual experience and as time goes on it seems to deepen only if it’s not intellectualized.

What seems to feel right is that this sense of permanence is connected to the subtle or the astral plane. Currently I’m researching and learning about the subtle system as it relates to Kundalini and the dynamics of the astral plane. It explains things like hearing voices or feeling the presence of other beings and even Deities. Once we understand the nature of our subtle system and its connection to the infinite astral plane the mystery of these types of experiences becomes lessened and the attachment to this body seems temporal.

If anyone has any information on the astral plane please feel free to post it, it’s invaluable!
