The Guru's veiw says, is it not unjustified to the person without giving a chance or convincing? It happens under the darkness and we should have the capability to accept it. We should understand the veiws what actuality mean to say or put on infront all of us found nothing wrong other than inappropriate language. It was felt that the person  more practical than us and knowledgable.

The veiw put ups here and now depends upon the Guru's juridiction.

             Thanks and Jai Shree Thakur

I do very much like and appreciate your views to close the discussions if they are getting too persnal or argumentative which is not the goal of this spiritual site.

All Editors have their right when they bring our any journal.

I wish that the Quality aspect of our spiritual site need to be improved. Besides, there ought to be some limit of words whilst one makes his contributions.

May God Bless all of us !!

It has been seen that some discussions are closed without any notification like Jogesh Lajmiji's blog "Did man created God or God created Man" where found only two or three person's commented. Felt that after long an awesome discussion with logic suddely closed. Is there any reason for cosing it, may please be intimated.

Amit ji

It is an excellent idea.

The real pleasure is when we talk about God in our own language i.e. Mother Tongue. God is a matter of Love and one's own language helps a lot.

And, Hindi is not only Mother Tongue to so many but a National Language too.

I am informed that a Google Hindi Transliteration can help us.

May God Bless !!

Sri Om Jai Om...

I am of the view that let there be an opportunity for Spiritual Guru members to float a Group whereby only those invited or those offering to join are duly screened by the Promoters of the subject Group.

The other members who are NOT IN GROUP may only be outside observers to gain knowledge.

Let us invite views on this from other Members as to how they feel about this idea.

May God Bless !!

ABOUT PRADAKSHINA: There are other most important things [Reference: Bhagwan Ramanamaharishi on Arunachala  Giri  Pradakshina Mahatmiyam and other siddha lieterature] There are many holy beings always ccircumbulating holy hills/mountains ,shrines and samadhis of great siddhas. They may be in human form or animals or in Astral forms too.  Hence when we do pradikshana keeping to our left extreme of the temple or mountain path, we are fortunate to do pradiakshina of these noble souls and get their radiation/ grace/ blessings or whatever those saints/siddhas wish us to have.  Ofcourse this depends on our receptivity like chanting only bhagwan naama and not gossipping with relatives friends while doing parikrama etc., Another amazing thing is these holy places especially Arunachala have sivalinga underneath the ground and in tamil it is mentioned "ADIKKU[underneath every step you take] ORU SIVA LINGAM IN THE WHOLE AREA OF TIRU ANNAMALAI" Thus the whole spiritual energy hidden below mother earth passes through our body .  Last but not the least do not wear chappals while doing hill parikrama.  you can wear socks /plaster etc., if you find it difficult midway. More on Giri Pradikshana later. OM ARUNACHALA SIVA OM OM SIVA SIVA OM.

Sri Om Jai Om...

I find some Members initiate a Discussion or Ask a Question on an Important Spiritual Topic and are not seen back on the respective Discussion.

Are the Members responding to the Discussion with sincerity talking to Walls and Wasting their precious time and effort?

Please share your own perception and oblige.

I think Feedback is for all this and more.

Let us enrich this spiritual soul, please.

For me this Feedback is for our own Spiritual Guru.

I think the idea of any Feedback is to invite suggestions for making any improvements and to know what Members feel about the existing structure and any changes which they feel may make the site more positive and interesting for readers.

Therefore, let there be open and positive contribution in this Feedback, pl.

om shree Ganeshay namaha. vinodji i think we should decide first subject for feedback and some guide line for feedback. like benifit from guru, , type of discussion , type of post, type of knowledge gain, how it more benefits for others. guide lines like what to post and what to not in this feedback to avoid any misunderstanding. feedback should open or close? if it is open and any bad feedback will come how to handle it ?Regards.

Sri Om Jai Om...

May I most humbly say that I find hardly any News in Gurunews.

It appears to be just an index of some activities.

I most humbly and sincerely request and suggest that we may give some excerpts from some important latest discussions on our site.

May be Guru News should also have some Editorial giving the views of Amitji and a few others who started this spiritual soul a magnificient site.

May God Bless !!

Feedback is often misunderstood as being a one-way communication between the teacher and the learner when in fact it is the overall interaction between them. It is essential for maximizing one's potential, raising awareness and improving one's strengths. It is also one of the most powerful tools that a leader has at his disposal provided that he or she knows how to use it properly.

In a practical situation, feedback is given to a learner so that he or she can work on the areas that need improving. Without feedback the learner may even assume that there is nothing to improve and therefore no progress is being made. The lack of feedback has usually two main consequences:

  1. the learner is making a false assessment of his or her abilities;
  2. the learner loses trust in the teacher.

Feedback is given in order to reinforce a behavior or change it if it is unacceptable. However, feedback does not always lead to something constructive. If handled poorly, "constructive criticism" can turn into an argument and then everybody loses. In order for the feedback to be used constructively, there are certain steps that need to be followed.

If you want your feedback to have a positive and practical effect; then there are some things that you need to consider before you actually give the feedback. For example, the person receiving negative feedback should not feel attacked in any way and their self-worth should remain unaffected after they have received the feedback.

Feedback should also be given as soon as possible, especially if it is positive feedback. Congratulating someone on a job well done after a month won't do as much good as if you were to congratulate them immediately after doing the job.

When giving out negative feedback, it is most important that it be done it in private. If you do it in front on others, not only will this de-motivate the person receiving the feedback but it will also de-motivate those who are watching. In addition, negative feedback should be given from a personal perspective. Let them know that you are the one who disapproves of their behavior and be very specific on what it is that you think they did wrong. This way they will not get the impression that you have something bad to say about their personality; but that they need to correct something that they did. You should also offer them a chance give you their input on your feedback and let them explain their actions.

Sri Om Jai Om...

I am a student of Journalism besides having done my Master's in Sociology and Law.

I have studied to an extent the psychology of communication. Feedback is essential and important for any Journalistic venture or public contact. We should encourage this so that the contributors do know what is in the mind of the readers, what are their expectations, etc., so that proper and timely efforts are made to establish a perfect empathy. This will no doubt enrich and make any communication full of life and interest.

In addition two way communication is always better than one way, please.

I wish more and more people should give their free and frank feedback.

May God Bless !!

We all find it hard to be objective about our own writing. Even professional writers have their work read by others (which is why professional proof-readers and editors can make a living). Letting others read your work helps you gain another perspective on what you have written.

The important thing about feedback is that it should be useful to and sensitive to the writer. The best kind of feedback is therefore feedback that the writer has asked for. This means that if you give your draft to someone else to read, you should tell them what kind of feedback you want. Give the reader some questions to answer or some points to pay attention to. If you are reading someone else's draft, ask them what kind of feedback they want.

Too much criticism is seldom helpful. Positive feedback is always more helpful than negative feedback because it encourages the writer to improve.
