Observing Ashadhi ekadashi !!!

A lamp of clarified butter (ghee) is kept lit throughout the night of an Ashadhi ekadashi. Intake: On any ekadashi, one's intake should be kept limited to only water, and a mixture of dried ginger (suntha) and sugar. However,…See More

Sri Om Jai Om...

Let us share and care for each other on our Spiritual sjourn !!

As for your interest to know more about Lord Ganesha, may I add, please look at the body figure of Lord Ganesha so that we learn more about Him.

He has a long trunk, means we should be sensitive and aware all the time, small eyes means that we should be in Meditational state to be less involved in Maya i.e. World, Long Ears means we should Listen and Learn more, etc. He is a Lord of Buddhi. He is called Vigan Vinayak.

If we use our Buddhi then Mind will always be in control and the problems of the world will vanish. Trust that this explanation will help you.

That is why He is called God of Buddhi (intellect), Riddhi (material wealth), Siddhi (Spiritual Attainment).

So to me that is the reason that we have to pray (invoke our inner strength) so that the God can fulfil our wishes be it material or spiritual.

Regards

VINOD BHASIN
