In my 38 years of frequent and lengthy travelling all over the country I have never been robbed, nor any one has cheated me nor fallen in to bad company. I had to a number of cities and stay in hotels or retiring rooms at railway stations but never once have I strayed into an undesirable hotel. I have had many many narrow shaves in my life. Once when I was only 16 I jumped over a wall and landed right in the middle of a wet slippery slush of mud. I skated through it uncontrolled and just stopped midway without losing my balance. How I managed it I do not know. Again when I was in College I got hit by a Cricket Ball right on my mouth. During those days I remember women in the neighbourhood, whose husband have gone on a business or official trip, asked my mother to send some male child to sleep in her house as she was lonely. Right from when I could remember and till now I have passed through different phases of life and experienced a lot. Meaning of OM....

Before the beginning, the Brahman (absolute reality) was one and non-dual. It thought, "I am only one -- may I become many." This caused a vibration which eventually became sound, and this sound was Om. Creation itself was set in motion by the vibration of Om. The closest approach to Brahman is that first sound, Om.
